Advanced Visual Communications - Studio Art

This is a studio art course based on 2-D and 3-D studio work with an emphasis on creative probleming solving.  Attention is given to visual studio work and personal experience.  Students will gain knowledge and an appreciation for various art forms from the technical to the conceptual.
 
There has never been a better time to be trained and prepared for a career in the visual arts industry.  The visual arts industry remains the number one employer in the state of California.  Careers in this industry include but are not limited to:
Art and Design Directors
Graphic Designer
3D Animator
Environmental Designer
Illustrator
Graphics Artist
Architect
Interior Designer
Videographer and Motion Graphics Artist
 
This course will be submitted for UC approval as a "f" for the Fine Arts  a-g subject requirements for the 2010-2011 school year.
