Course Description:
Prepare for entry level employment in the automotive industry. Learn lab safety, tool identification, precision measurement, and engine operation. Maintenance, tune-up, diagnostics and troubleshooting of ignition and electronic fuel injection systems, brakes, standard transmissions and clutch and lubrication systems will also be covered.

Persons with good diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, and whose training includes basic career development skills as well as electronics and computer courses have the best opportunities.
