Who is eligible for ROP courses?
Individuals desiring to develop, improve or update their occupational skills and who reside within the Fremont Union, Mountain View-Los Altos Union HS District, or Palo Alto USD, including:

High School Students

Out-of-School youth

Adults (on a space available basis)
What does it cost?
ROP Training is free to high school students. A lab/materials fee is collected for some programs.
There may be fees for adult participants.
When can I enroll?
Classes typically begin in August and continue throughout the school year. See instructions for enrollment on the next page.
Where are the classes located?
ROP classes are held on the ten high schools within the JPA and articulate with some courses at community college campuses. You can see the current schedule of courses offered by clicking on the home page left side bar link "Class schedule".
How do I apply?
High school students may contact their on-campus ROP Counselor. Other applicants please contact the ROP office. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment forms are used only for students requesting to enroll in a course not on their home campus, or for those not currently enrolled in school, but living within the boundaries of the three districts. Forms can be printed from this website. If you are currently enrolled on one of the JPA high schools, please see your counselor or assistant principal. If you are an out-of-school youth or adult, please mail the form(s) to the NCROP Office at 589 W. Fremont Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94087. The medical form is not needed unless there is a current health issue that school personnel would need to be aware of.
Upon completion, students earn:

College credit & advanced placement is available for many courses at Community Colleges within the area through established "Articulation Agreements."
